Inspection NEN 3140 electrical work equipment
When using electrical work equipment, dangers can arise for the users and for the environment. The quality of work equipment deteriorates as a result of the use of work equipment. This is the result of wear, damage and aging. An accident may be a consequence of this. For this reason, legislation is aimed at guaranteeing the safe condition of work equipment throughout its entire period of use. This can be achieved through a NEN 3140 inspection.
By having your electrical work equipment inspected, you can demonstrate that you provide “safe” work equipment to your employees. Inspections of electrical tools, machines and equipment are carried out by inspectors and/or inspectors from
Electrical integrity inspection in accordance with the NEN 3140 standard.
The following requirements apply to this inspection:
- A visual check;
- A check by measurement and/or testing;
- A record must be kept;
- The inspection must be demonstrable;
- It must be clear to the user that the tool to be used is safe.
After the inspection, you will receive a certificate for each piece of work equipment with accompanying comments, any defects or deviating readings. We can also advise and/or support you with creating unique identification for your work equipment that can later be processed in a database.
